Description
The RCF MQ 90S is a compact band-pass, 60 watt, 8” subwoofer loudspeaker suitable for use on 70 / 100 volt line constant voltage music systems as well as 16 ohm low impedance sound systems. When used on 100 volt line, the power can be altered to 60, 30, 15, or 7.5 watts, using the rotary tapping selector on the back.
Unlike other subwoofers, the satellite speakers do not need to be wired directly to the MQ90S subwoofer, as they can be parallel wired anywhere along the constant voltage wire pair.
The MDF cabinet construction, high power transducer, enclosure design and 8″ woofer all combine to give an impressive performance for its size.
Due to the non directional characteristics of bass sound, subwoofers can be located anywhere in the same room as the “satellite” loudspeakers (for mid / high frequencies). The RCF Monitor Q series loudspeakers are ideal for use with this subwoofer – see related products.
